“I believe that the fundamental principles of Chiropractic – structural integrity and neuromuscular function – apply so well to athletes, but they also apply to wellness for everyone. Correcting biomechanical faults, and aligning body structures for increased functionality and performance, we help athletes return to the field of play faster and reduce the risk of re-injury. This hands-on work is important to everybody, not just athletes! By utilizing the triad of health model from Applied Kinesiology, I combine techniques using my own proprietary method for restoring STRUCTURE, EMOTION, and NUTRITION in each unique patient.” – Dr. Robin June

Kate Bolia

As a Specialist in Muscle Activation Technique, Kate works with individuals to assess and correct muscular imbalances, joint instability, and range of motion limitations in order to get you functioning at your highest level. This non-invasive technique is effective for EVERYONE from elite athletes to rehabilitation patients and anyone in between. Muscle Activation Techniques® is a specific and unique process for evaluating an individual’s ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Loss of muscle contraction results in a decreased range of motion, and therefore decreased physical performance. Range of motion testing can indicate which muscles have decreased contractibility, and precise forces are applied to restore that muscle’s efficiency. Kate is trained and certified to perform several force application techniques that can restore function and strengthen weak muscles. MAT® has been successfully implemented with professional athletes (NFL, NBA, NHL, CFL, PGA, etc.) in clinical rehabilitative, personal training environments, and countless other settings. As a former Ironman triathlete and current powerlifter, Kate is uniquely qualified to work with athletes and the needs of their specific sport. She has found that this unique systematic format used to “jumpstart’ the muscles in order for them to function with maximum efficiency is ideal for athletes in all fields.  Implementing MAT®  into pre-, intra-, and post-exercise routines are especially effective in preventing injury and encouraging maximum performance. A few sessions with Kate will have you running more efficiently, swinging a racket or club better and lifting more weight, without injury, than you thought possible. Contact the office to book a 30, 45 or 60-minute session to see the results!

In addition to being a MAT® Specialist, Kate does sessions in energy work as well. She has been trained by Master Stephen Co in Basic and Advanced Pranic Healing, as well as Pranic Psychotherapy. Although MAT® and Pranic Healing practices may seem very different, they work very well together.  Kate is able to use her knowledge of the body’s energy fields to assist in muscle activation and rehabilitation. On its own Pranic Healing is a highly effective tool for numerous forms of healing ranging from physical healing to treating emotional issues and forms of addiction. She also does private 45 – 60 minute Pranic Healing sessions individualized to your specific needs. Contact the office to make an appointment.
